Best known for their distinct dialect, Naifaru is the capital island of Lhaviyani atoll. With fishing as the primary occupation, the first canning factory of the country was chosen to be nearby Naifaru due to the high fishing rate of the islanders.

Naaifaru looks like a shoe in my opinion. The island is 625 meters long and 325 meters wide. It has a population of 3687. Naaifaru has been inhabited more than 400 years. It is the capital of the Lhaviyani Atoll. Naaifaru has two popular beaches, which are kuredu beach and Hurawalhi beach. In Naaifaru there was a famous singer his name was Abdulla Moosa but everyone called him Naifaru Dhohokko.

Naifaru Dhohokko was the first film producer in Maldives. Naifaru Dhohokko's actual name is Amiad Ibrahim Didi. He was born on the eleventh September 1967 in Naifaru, Lhaviyani Atoll. He is widely known as Naifaru Dhohokko for his immense contributionto the film industry of Maldives. Didi's first television drama was 'Maaburge usoolu' which was released in 1995, produced by the Maldives National. Also Naifaru Dhohokko video "Maslahathu neiyan bnney" and also followed by directing six songs for the television program "maazeege hanahaan", not After long Amjad Ibrahim wrote and released his debut direction a drama film 'Huras' in 1996 . The film which focuses on a relationship between a teacher and astudent was developed with the intention of winning Gaumee film Awards though it failed to garner any award at Gaumee film awards ceremony. The following years he released the commercially successful romantic drama film Loabeega Aniyah in 1997, in which appears, Maryam Nisha an established actress and an under-privileged talented vocalist Hasan sobah.Next year Ibrahim launched actor Yaosuf Shafeeu with his comedy drama filmOurbaani. The film was a successful project and was deciared a mega hit at the endof its run at cinema. The film revolves around a woman who has been mistreated by her stepmother and forced into marriage she disapproves. After directing films, Naifaru Dhohokko took a break of eight years before returning to the work of film direction. In 2018 he released another horror film "Raymun" which marks his 52nd direction. Naifaru Dhohoko's contribution to the Maldives Film and Television Industries is to be continued and every Maldivian, especially everyone from Naifaru feels proud of his great talent and commitment to what he does.

Famously known Naifaru Dhohokko or Dhohokko bey is a legendary musician who is famous for composing his own music and writing his own lyrics.

As the most famous musician of his time he had won the National Award for Outstanding Musician. Maldivian Association for Performing Arts (MAPA) inaugrated 'Naifaru Dhohokko Award’ as a singing competition in honor of his name.
