Funadhoo

The island began its population on January 1, 1968 when Shaviyani Atoll Office was transferred to Farukolhu (Funadhoo) from Lhaimagu which was the capital of the atoll. Funadhoo is the administrative capital of the Shaviyani Atoll. The island has a river called "Dhahfalhu". The island also has a beach called "Kudafunadhoo". The locals are really friendly by nature and welcoming their visitors.‌‌
