The Island is small and people earn their living mainly on tourist resort jobs and government jobs. A significant number of people make a living through agriculture, small businesses, tuna and grouper fishing, and other types of harvesting such as lobster and sea cucumber. Furthermore, the island has now established a guest home industry.
