There are many notable individuals on this island, but I'd like to focus on Hassan Sajin. He works as a fisherman. People may not recognize him as Hassan Sajin, but they will recognize him as Zuvaan Masveriya. He is only 22 years old and has already earned a reputation for himself in the fishing sector.

Youth initiative is high in this island as a result lots of eye catching cites have been built and many more projects are ahead. These include the Reha Beach, Zero beach, maareha view, sun raise beach, paradise beach, underwater swing, coral park and many more.

There are lot of famous people in this island but going to highlight about Hassan Sajin. He is a fisherman. People may not know him as Hassan Sajin but he will be Known as Zuvaan Masveriya. He is just 22 years old and Already made his name in fishing industry. Mainly involved in community awareness and reigniting the love for fishing among youth. As his effort many youths engaging the industry. He has founded an organization named “Dhivehi Masverin” he always advocates difficulties faced by fisherman and notice the relative authority to fisherman concerns. He works with different organizations to develop this industry. He is trying to enchase this industry with modern technology and equipment. He promotes fishing all around the youth saying that it’s not nasty work. Zuvaan Masveriya is now brand ambassador of Ooredoo.
